-
What is Pilates mentoring, and who is it for?Pilates mentoring is personalized guidance for instructors who want to grow their skills, confidence, and teaching expertise. It’s perfect for new graduates or seasoned instructors looking to refine their craft, explore creative approaches, or deepen their knowledge.
-
How is mentoring different from teacher training?Unlike training courses, mentoring is one-on-one and personalized. We focus on your unique challenges, strengths, and teaching goals rather than a standard syllabus.
-
What’s your approach as a mentor?I’m here to guide, inspire, and challenge you in a supportive way. Think of me as your biggest cheerleader and gentle accountability buddy rolled into one.
-
What can I expect from mentoring sessions? Each 1-hour session is tailored to your goals, starting with a pre-mentoring questionnaire to help you flesh out what you'd like to take away from your time with me. We’ll explore topics like class planning, cueing strategies, client progressions, anatomy and biomechanics. You’ll leave with actionable insights, resources, and a clear path forward.
-
How are the sessions structured?Mentoring journeys typically run over 6–8 sessions, but we can customize the structure to suit your needs. Each session lasts 1 hour, and you’ll also receive follow-up notes or exercises to work on.
-
Do I need to prepare anything before a session?Just bring your questions, challenges, or areas you’d like to grow in. For some sessions, I may ask you to reflect on specific topics or bring examples of class plans.
-
Can I focus on a specific area, like pre/postnatal Pilates or cueing?Absolutely! Mentoring is all about you. We can deep dive into specialized areas like pre/postnatal, teaching progressions, or even business strategies for instructors.
-
Do you offer virtual mentoring?Yes! Mentoring is available online and in person. Whether you’re local or on the other side of the world, we’ll make it work.
-
What’s the investment, and how do I book?Pricing is $100 for single sessions, with discounted packages for 5 or more. Booking is simple—just fill in the enquiry form above and I'll be in touch to discuss a bespoke mentoring plan to help you on your teaching journey.
-
Can I get a trial session before committing?Of course! I offer a one-off 30 minute introductory session so we can explore how mentoring fits your goals - just send me a message via the enquiry form above.
